Pool Health Center
The UW Health Sports drug Center's Aquatic Center features two distinct pools to meet up the fitness and rehabilitative needs of your members, class members and clients. Both are available with a membership to the health club or by signing up for one of our many aquatic course programs.
Exercising in the water is a great, safe fitness choice offering the great things about decreased stress on the joints while increasing flexibility, range of flexibility, power, balance and endurance.
Get in the Pool
The Lap Pool
The Lap Pool features five lanes and is 25 yards long. The majority of the share is shallow, ranging from four feet to five legs deep. One-third regarding the share is fantastic for deep-water activities.
The share is kept at a cushty 82 degrees - a perfect temperature for tasks such lap swimming, liquid aerobics or deep water running courses. Stairs or a ramp may be used to go into the pool. A water wheelchair is available for individuals who require this accessibility.
The Hot Water Pool
The Warm Water Pool gradually slopes from three and one-half to five legs deep. The share is held at a warm 92 degrees - a perfect heat for extending, strengthening along with other less strenuous activities. A ramp enables you to enter the share. A hydraulic raise is present for folks with disabilities who need this accessibility.
